Fuel Oil Sales
Our modern state of the art processing facility produces a Processed Fuel Oil (PFO) from various waste oils. The PFO is manufactured to an Environmental Agency approved standard known as the Quality Protocol. Each batch of PFO is tested in our UKAS accredited laboratory to ensure our product is compliant with the stipulated end of waste criteria. This is audited by the Environment Agency to ensure we comply with all the regulations of used oil collection and waste engine oil disposal. The Benefits of using a PFO are:
- Reduced purchase costs
- Using an environmentally friendly recycled product
- Reduced carbon footprint
- Reduces the demand on virgin fuels and the world’s oil reserves
- If used as an alternative to heavy or medium fuel oil it greatly reduces burner maintenance and has cleaner burner characteristics together with increased heater efficiency
With the differing needs of our customers, we blend the PFO to two different formulas. Both are compliant with the Environment Agency’s Quality Protocol.
The PFO replaces a 200 second fuel oil and is ideal for industries with fuel pre-heaters. If your existing plant requires heating we can help convert your system by installing a pre-heater to burn our PFO.
